WHAT IS BOTOX? 

Botox is a brand name for a purified protein called botulinum toxin type A. Produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, it is safely used in tiny, controlled doses to block nerve signals. This temporarily relaxes targeted muscles or stops certain nerve functions​

HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?

The results of BOTOX typically begin to appear within a few days after the injection. However, the full results may not be visible for about 1 – 2 weeks, so it is important to wait an adequate amount of time before seeking a top up treatment. 

​HOW LONG DOES BOTOX LAST?

In general, the effects of BOTOX last about 3 – 6 months.

As with any treatment, of course, the longevity of the results will vary from patient to patient.
